Every week, enjoy the Mexican free wrestling in the 17,000-seat Arena de Mexico and the smaller Arena Coliseo. The wrestlers, known as luchadores fight providing thrilling entertainment. The crowd get enthusiastic and cheer out for their chosen fighter. It is a very popular event amongst the locals as well as tourists.

Another popular activity is flying over Mexico City to enjoy the panoramic view tops of the city's skyscrapers, landmarks, parks and other famous attractions. Cycling:

Bullfighting:
The Plaza de Toros in Mexico City is the largest bullring in the world that holds about 50,000 people at a time. During bullfighting season, the event takes place every Sunday. This tradition was brought to Mexico by Spanish people and now it has become an important traditional event in Mexico. The city provides many bullfighting events.
Walking:
Walking is the best way to explore the city. Walking offers a chance to observe the brilliance of the city's landscapes and skyscrapers. To escape from the city's busy streets and crowds, go to Iztapalapa station and hike up Cerro de la Estrella. The venue is an extinct volcano cone about 12km (7.4mi) southeast of downtown.
Horseback riding:
Horseback riding is a popular activity among tourists. Mexico City has a few venues where horseback riding can be arranged by local tour operators. Riding in the morning is more enjoyable and comfortable as the temperature rises in the afternoon. Horseback rides can also be arranged at several park locations by locals.

Horse racing:
Hipodromo de las Americas is a venue for horse racing lovers in Mexico City. The races take place nearly every day. The venue has different zones for different budgets including the original club-house and grandstand with a seating capacity for 20,000 people. Golfing:
Mexico City has some excellent, lush green golfing areas. Though some of the golfing clubs do not welcome visitors to play on. Tourists can find out from their hotel if they have access to a golfing site in the city.
Tennis:
For tennis lovers, some hotels provide courts to play this fun activity. However, some external clubs in Mexico City also provides some nice tennis courts. The pleasant days and cool nights provide perfect weather conditions for a game.

Xochimilco:
The floating gardens of Xochimilco is a vast and exciting system of waterways and flower gardens located in the south of Mexico City. This venue dates back to Aztec times where tourists can take pleasure in a ride by brightly painted boats, called trajineras. In 1987, the place was declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO.
Baseball:
Mexico City has very thin air, its baseball friendly weather allows you to play baseball with full enthusiasm. This sports activity is usually arranged from March to July and August is playoff month.
Soccer:
Soccer is the national sport of Mexico and it is the sport that locals are most passionate about! The Mexico City was a host for two FIFA world cups finals which were held in 1970 and 1986.
Fishing:
Fishing in Mexico City can be done in light fresh water just outside the town. Many tour operators in the city offer fishing trips in the Pacific Ocean.

Scuba Diving:
