Participate in the Mexico City Gay Pride Parade
One of the largest and the wildest Gay Pride events in Latin America that is all set to take place in Mexico City soon. Gay Pride events are getting more and more acceptance and popularity all over the world, and this event in Mexico City draws millions of people to it.
The festival is locally known as Marcha del Orgullo LGBT de la Ciudad de México and is held in last week of June every year. Gay Pride or LGBT pride strives to make a positive impact on the lives of the LGBT community and creates awareness against discrimination and violence toward the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Gay Pride events are held all around the globe and have activities such as parades, rallies, community days, commemorations, dance parties and festivals.
The festival in Mexico City will be held in Zona Rosa, an upbeat neighbourhood in the city. The parade starts at the Angel of Independence and ends with a party in Zocalo. The main event is Marcha de la Diversidad and is attended by thousands of people belonging to all the communities.
